Shipping a piano from Overseas

What this dealer is finding out with regards to clearing ivory though customs
is that a private individual may get permission if the piano is 25 y/o or more.
A dealer must prove the piano is 100 y/o or more.

It is not advisable to ship (smuggle) ivory through the post. If one of those
tree-hugging, vegetarian, do-gooders gets their teeth into you, you would
rather have been attacked by pit bulls.
