This is what Todd indicated that he did - pulled it up to pitch the first
pass, and then used the SAT overpull to have it end up at pitch after the
second pass from about 35 to 40 cents flat.

With the SAT - no.

He did say that. He did it from about 35 cents flat, which would yield an
overpull of perhaps 9 cents - not too terribly extreme for bass, although I
usually use about 20% overpull in the bass instead of the 25% calculated by
the SAT.

Dear list,
