According to Larry Fine's "The Piano Book" (4th edition), it was made by Young Chang at the Korean factory. Young Chang has had a history of growing action brackets in the past. But ... because the Knabe name is owned by PianoDisc in Sacramento (according to Fine), you might want to contact them first about warranty issues and authorization. Z! Hi all. I have a Knabe with growing action brackets. Thankfully, I'm the only person who has ever serviced the piano, so let-off is still aprroximently where it's suppose to be. The Knabe in question has a serial # that doesn't match up with anything in my Pierce(1996 ed.). KN-610 Serial# G-108363. I put a call into YC hoping Jim Davis will call me back on it..but in the meantime, if you have a minute, would one of you please check that number for me? 'preciate it, Phil
