I was given a lever similar to the one you are describing by my mentor =
who said it belonged to his father. "Dad" used it in the 1860's and =
later. I'm not really sure of the dates. Mine has a fixed handle and =
threaded tips of different lengths for tuning square grands. The pin =
holes are at right angles to each other to aid lever placement during =
tuning.

  Hi, List!
Does anyone have a clue to its age, or manufacturer? There is no name =
anywhere on it. If anyone would like a picture, perhaps I could do one =
sometime with my digital camera and send it to you privately. Would it =
be of interest to anyone to see at a convention display?

BTW, the piano owner offered it to me when I asked her if I could take =
a picture of it!

The difficult I do right away; the impossible takes a little longer!
