Terry,

The Dampp-Chaser brochure states on page 7, "The Dampp-Chaser Climate Control
System maintains your piano at an average 42% relative humidity as recommended
by major piano manufacturers."  I am taking their word for it.  Of course if you
are installing only the control and a heat bar, there is nothing to prevent the
piano from getting drier than that.
