Hi Kevin, This is one of Baldwins' patented treble termination bars. Yes...the problem is they do sometimes ring on the front side. I usually only find it on one or two. I often do what Don reccomends, which is introduce bushing cloth to the most offensive ones. I don't believe any restringing is necessary. Mike Bratcher
