Bechstein date

Hi, I was at  customer today, he had a Bechstein grand, about 5'6'', the
number on it per pierce dates it at 1912, yet the design of it seemed
far older. It was with a sloping pinblock, 3 part case rim (rather than
continuous curve) and action was of a very simple design, a jack hitting
directly onto a knotch on the hammer butt. Any ideas on an approximate
date/era?
