"Northern lights blazing every night"

Oh, boy. I wish I could put into words what that does to me. I have very
fond memories of weeks and months spent sailing in northern Canada. seeing
many a display of the Northern Lights. My Canadian adventures only took me
to latitudes of maybe 50 degrees north (I think). You are at 64 degrees
north. WOW, you must really see some Northern Light displays. Is Reykjavík
to city you live in? Is that the capitol? What are the winters like. I'm
sure they are moderated a bit by the Gulf Stream, but how much? I was a
geologist in another life. Are you near where the planet splits and spews
out liquid planetary material? I'd love to hear from you. Thanks. Good luck.
:-)

P.S. I have re-read the Star Trek thing a zillion times and laughed about a
million times. I can hear bones saying that. Although, I did not get it in
the original post!
