You could tap some new threads if you have the metal to work with. Don't Panic!!! If nothing else works, you can always go to an auto parts or machinist shop and get these stripped bolt inserts, They are like little sleeves of wound wire which you locktite into the plate. The agraffes will turn right into them. I wish I could tell you the right terminology,,,,,,Damn I'll just look it up. Hang on.......... Sorry, as usual, my notes are scattered all over heck. Look, talk to a good auto mechanic. Ask him what he does when a bolt strips out of the block. If he doesn't mention this technique, then find a good mechanic..........
