humidity problem - will this fix it?

The problem absolutely WILL return. Many years ago, in an attempt to keep the 
cost down for the customers, and before I gave up being so stubborn, I did 
many experiments with such parts, including Protek, naphtha cleaning, 
perchlorethelene (with and without ultrasound), and repinning with all of the 
above; even rebushing. It always returned, because the root problem wasn't 
removed, and the more that was  spent on a temporary solution was that much 
more taken from the real fix. Further, Protek will make a difference, but the 
difference can last as little as a few days in some actions.
