At least the "rebuilder"  didn't put those horrible little accelerated
action punchings back in.  This could be an improvement in the making!

You know those cute little punchings on all the hitch pins,   I think the
"rebuilder" just misplaced them.  Give the guy/gal the benefit of the
doubt here James.  You may be judging a bit harshly

Ya'll just need to install about twenty more screws in the webbing area.
It'll settle down when theblock creeps up to the flange someday.

I've seen this before.  The poor rebuilder was just trying to make sure
that his stringing job had a least a few coils and string heights that
conformed to every manufacturers OEM specs.  No complaint necessary in
light of this observation.

Probably can't get new high enough quality wound strings to sound better
than originals.
