Hi Jim, What a terrible mess! Two things occur to me: 1. if you are not careful, you _could_ end up becoming a "target" because it is always MUCH HARDER to straighten out someone else's mess than it is to work on a "virgin piano" that hasn't been screwed up. Therefore you need to bid high. 2. When someone has been burned before, they are much more demanding of the person who has to correct the situation so your following idea may not be good enough: >the only thing I can truthfully say is what condition the thingee is in now and what needs to be done for it to be "acceptable" at some minimum, commonly recognized, level?
