I've seen some "recondition" type jobs where they've basically just did a little shimming to the soundboard, restrung with oversized tuning pins, and a new set of hammers, damper felts, and keytops. But I'm not sure this type of thing is what you're talking about. I was just trying to figure out what you would have to fix _before_ you started to rebuild.?? The weather 'person' is calling for 6 - 12 inches of snow before tomorrow morning. Temps in the low 20's, so it's not so bad. Snow shovel is in working condition. Have chains for the tires on the truck. Food in the cupboard. Firewood near the woodstove. Hope the rest of you are doing ok too. :-)
