Dampp Chaser and the swine flu

I have seen several pianos with Dampp Chaser Installed, and I never found
this problem in any with a proper care and instalation. What you describe is
typical of overdrying.
Did you check the unit to see if it was working properly. ?
One of the steps to take before blaming DC is to contact DampChasser Corp o
a qualified DC tech to verify the unit.
