Phil; Some of these thingees had closely spaced keys and/or oversized regulating paper punchings. Occasionally there will be a "clicking" sound just as the key rests on the back rail and the punching, next key, slips off of the side of the moving key...........did I explain that well enough?...........don't know if this is a problem on this thingee but it is worth a look.
