Magic loop splice

Hi Ron,

Maybe somebody got a little to ambitious with trying to 'tap' that there
sucker down to the plate, putting a nice little nick in the wire??  (They
might have even used a steel screw driver to do it!  Ooooo.)

Interesting, though.  I've never had the ... pleasure?... of tying on a new
loop.
