I didn't know I had the Jan 04 "bug" until a piece of software on a 15 day
trial period told me the date on my computer was wrong. My mail box
showed mail I sent to the list on 1/1/00. However if I open that post
it says I sent it January 04, 1980. Well I didn't notice this, nor do I
display the date on the start bar, only the time. I reset the date from
there. Should I still re-set it in DOS? If I enter dos from the program
bar it gives the corrected date. (at the C/windows prompt) Also, how did
the software know my date was wrong?
