Dampp-chaser survey

Bob,

In the early years, I did not promote them, BUT in the one case where I
installed it and educated the people in charge, the piano was very stable.
A dealer was installing them in pianos sold. I happened onto one where the
humidifier had run dry, the light was on and the pianist thought that meant
all was OK. WELL-L-L! The piano was a half step flat and the organ was to
be use with the piano the next day. I "charged-up" the system and told the
office help to get word to the pianist that the piano would back up in pitch
and would need tuning again in two weeks. Word never got to her and I just
happened to be at the store where she bought it when she was going to berate
me for my tuning skills. I relayed the information I gave to the office
help. She said they were getting another tuner. I told her if she kept the
humidifier filled all would be OK.

Since then, with the "Smart Heater Bar" and the "Humidifer Treatment"
available, I am promoting them (D-C's) highly. Where both are there the
pianos become very stable after they are a couple years old. The "H T" does
what it is touted to do. Keeps chemicals from building up on the
humidifier. I had one church where they ran out when I didn't have any to
sell them. The first time I serviced the humidifier, it was clean as a
whistle. The second time, without the treatment, it had masive amounts of
residue built up on the humidifier rod.

I'm SOLD!
