It is true that they rarely fail, but it can happen. I had two H-2s that had to be repaired. You can tell if the piano sounds worse with a system than without. Incidentally, I give clients who buy a complete system an extra two free years of guarantee, making a total of seven years. I don't expect it to cost me anything.
