Steinway estimate?

As I have seen others of you do in the past, I am going to quiz the
experts on this list as to the value of a customer's Steinway grand here
in the Atlanta area.

It is a 1938 model A III, all original parts.  There is a soundboard
crack at the end of the bass end of the treble bridge that runs to the
rim, a distance of maybe 10 inches or so.

It was a gift to the owner from her late voice teacher (we should all be
so blessed!), and she is looking at the possiblity of selling it and
would like to have some idea of it's worth.

Any estimates?
