Terry, When you enter your FAC notes, you are tuning A4 while the machine is set at (listening to) A5, so you are not tuning A4 at 440 at this point. After you have finished the FAC procedure, then you must re-tune A4 to A4, that's when it should be right on 440. In some cases the machine is a little off at this point and you must enter an offset, but I find it's rare for this to happen. Good Luck.
