SAT II users

My pedal footswitch wire shorts out about every 6-12 months and I have to
replace wire. I just bought a new wire and complete switch (for spare)
because of that.

Yep, footswitch sent bad...had to solder wires inside the switch. heck, I've
handled soldering irons since age 13!

Yes, I get the "LOW BAT" indication...then I recharge the battery...not
before then, however.

Thumbswitch is aftermarket. They don't last long.

Have you ever had trouble with either the "foot" or "thumb" switch? Also,
the manual mentions a "LOWBAT" indication will be seen in the left window,
when the battery is low, but that's not what I get; Instead, I get little
black "dots" on either side of the note and/or octave indicators (left
window).
