The only way I know is to tune a note on the desired pitch on the piano and then TUNE the SAT by the calibration mode to this note (you may have to toggle a couple of times between tune and calibration mode in order to achieve this). Don't forget to reset your SAT to standard pitch when you're done! Michel lachance, RPT >Yes, as I indicated in my previous post, I am familiar with Resetting to >Non-Standard Pitch. The problem arises when one tries to pitch-raise to a >non-standard pitch. The SAT seems to only pitch-raise to A440 pitch. > >Terry Farrell >Piano Tuning & Service >Tampa, Florida >mfarrel2@tampabay.rr.com > >----- Original Message ----- >From: <kam544@flash.net> >To: <pianotech@ptg.org> >Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2000 7:17 PM >Subject: Re: SAT Pitch Raise to Lower Pitch > > > > >...(I can't believe Dr. Sanderson missed this situation), does > > >anyone know of a slick way around it? > > > > > >Terry Farrell > > > > No, he didn't, and yes there is a slick way around it.
