The real experts must be taking the day off, so I'll give a stab at it.

I've not run up against a console with that pinblock, but I'm due to see a
grand next week.  I haven't looked inside for a few years, but if I recall
correctly, there is a locking collar/nut which may be loosened and then the
wedge driven ever so slightly into the pin. Tap lightly on the wedge, try
the pin, if OK tighten lock.
