What extent of paperwork is required to bring a piano with ivory keytops from Canada to the US? The reason I ask is today, waiting for some tools, I've been cleaning off the numbers marked by a brilliant person, heads only, in magic marker on the bottom of a set for a back-burner piano I bought. The instrument had been moved from Canada minus the ivory which had been mailed to the person from whom I acquired it. Not cleaning the containers I used for the first wash, I discovered that Goof-Off seems to mix nicely with dishwashing detergent, making a paste which can sit longer without evaporating. This in turn washes off with Naptha, better saving the remaining slivers of wood than wiping or wire brushing. Clark
