This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi, I looked at the PT Cruiser, and it seems to be a really versatile = vehicle. The seats can be removed or folded, and it has lots of head room. The=20 back door opens into the main compartment. I took one for a drive, and because of the small engine, the noise level was higher than I liked. It is based on the Neon, drive train I believe, = which is a proven drive train. If I didn't like the vehicle I have now = for a service vehicle, I would have one in a shot. I drive a long wheel base Dodge Minivan, with the back seats removed. I use the anchor points on the floor, to secure a piece of plywood, and=20 secured to it is a cabinet that was a closet/ chest of drawers, from = when my children were young. (They are 40 and 38). I modified it to carry my spare parts and tools. It has small parts cabinets screwed to the back, and my collapsible piano tilter clamped to the side. A piece of pegboard on the back, and some tool boxes, and plastic crates, and a = compartmentalized homemade suitcase for strings, in canisters, and compartments for boxes of pins with a drawer for misc. stringing things. When you have, as I have, a mainly rural clientele, you must carry most = things=20 with you. Oh yes, and lastly, I am left with a clear floor area of full width by = 4', with the two side doors. If I move a grand action, I just put it in a cargo = blanket,=20 secure it to my two wheel hand truck, wheel it to the van, put the = handle side in, and lift the wheel side up and slide the lot in. When I used to = carry the=20 grand actions, I had been known to get a hammer or two broken off. Oh yes, that is why I didn't get a PT Cruiser, I like the vehicle I = have. It is my fourth minivan. I think the PT Cruiser would make a good = service vehicle. Get your company information, professionally applied to the=20 windows with the stick on reflective tape. Regards, John M. The PT Cruiser = is the first car I have ever seen that both looks kinda cool and has the = ??potential?? to be practical. Does anyone use one of these? How are they for = carrying=20 actions, tools, and all our "stuff"?=20 Terry Farrell Terry,=20 Why are you toying with this idea? If it is because the PT Cruiser = is cool and you like the idea of owning one, then you may need to make = some sacrifices in its practicality. I think it would be a showstopper = to drive up to clients' homes in one of those, but for myself I don't = really expect it to happen. :-(=20 Regards, Clyde=20 ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
