No answers for you, sorry. Just confirmation. I tuned a 1980 BB a few days ago for the first time - also the first of these I have ever tuned (I've tuned smaller old M&Hs & loved 'em). I was a very mediocre piano. Ho-hum at best. Seemed to be fairly worn for it's age - but I do not know exactly how hard it has been played, but it has been in private residential ownership.
