Wretched S&S & Yamahas

[Newton Hunt]

At Rutgers there is a wonderful Yamaha C-3 (older model)
that has a marvelous bass, big and open.  I showed this to
two Yamaha technicians and they both said, "This is not the
Yamaha sound."  I told them that this sound is what most
Americans actually like.  No comment from them.
