straws, anyone?

I do not consider the straw repair for hammer shanks to be substandard at
all on uprights. The repair is strong enough for tuning immediately, at
much less hassle and expense for the customer. The straw can be split and
removed at the next tuning/call. Or, if no one cares, forget about it! It
adds no weight to affect performance.

The difficult I do right away: the impossible takes a little longer!
