Yes. Capstans. You don't screw them in, do you? Why get them all crooked and
wear out the wood before you even get started by screwing them in?

Now, please...don't tell me this won't work. You'll upset the millions of
capstans that are pressed into place in all of the various factories of the
world every year.

Hoping this wasn't overly verbose...
