Let's see now, charging the whole PTG an extra $10.00 to hire a moderator=
for the list used by far less than 20% of the membership! That's one that=
should sail right through Council unopposed!

Maybe it is the "digest" form that's the problem. I get individual=
messages, and a quick glance at the subject and author can tell me to=
delete before I get past the first 5 words. With the digest, you have to=
scroll past, but not too far, and I can see where that would be more=
trouble. There are writers whose posts I always read, and others I seldom=
 do.

On a moderator: It's presumed that this person would be God himself and=
would edit the material exactly as I'd like it. All frivolous (in my=
opinion) posts would be deleted, and only enlightening posts would get=
through. Occasional jokes (that I think are funny) would be posted, all=
"inappropriate" and "corny" jokes would be filtered out. How do we hire=
 this person?

Let's all just use a little restraint. Label Off Topic [OT] and reply=
personally when we want to make a personal comment.

Go list!
