An Aural Adventure solved?

Please help me try to understand the problem Phil. When you first measure A4
with the SAT, A4 is at -4.8 - meaning that you measured A4 with the SAT on
page 0 and it measured to be 4.8 cents below 440 Hz? Or are you saying the
the SAT simply displays -4.8 when you have it set on A4? Then I don't see
how adding 4.8 (I take it you mean subtracting?) to the -4.8 to get -9.6 is
going to get you to A440?

Please tell exactly what mode you had the SAT in and exactly what was
displayed. Then indicate what pitch A4 was measured to be, etc. It sounds
like an interesting problem, and I would like to fully understand it.
