David, What is the winter sky like in San Fran? I lived for a year in San Diego. We didn't have a winter sky. Then again, we didn't have a winter, either. On the mid-East Coast, a winter sky means low, gloomy overcast. A pale gray. A bleak scan of bare trees. Upturned soil in the fields. Stubble. Brown. Calm. Cold.
