Correct strike point

First get in touch with Baldwin and ask them what the rake
should be. This is the angle of the shank to the molding of
the hammer. It could be 90 degrees and could very easily be
different.

Generally strike line ratios to length go from about 1/7 to
about 1/14. The basic criteria is that 88 and about 75
sound best at only one height and that is the strike line
between those two points. If this line is level then the
rest is easy, if it is not then you must ask Baldwin what
their shank length is for number 1 and hang the rest in a
straight line from 1 to 75 (or so).

Alternatively you can go to three or four similar models and
measure them. Might be less time consuming than calling.

The only critical area is the top end and the rest need to
hit their unisons while the hammer is 80 degrees to the rest
rail (or there abouts).

Lots of luck.
