Dear Ric & List I would assume so. It's gratifying to see a focus on comparing quality and performance instead of the sales approach so common to the typical, stereotype piano store if we may be allowed to generalize somewhat. One of our customers who regularly travels to New York says that one of the principals of faustharrisonpianos.com is a fairly well known local artist in New York and they have a magnificent selection of vintage and new Mason & Hamlin and Steinway pianos. He said there was also a write up in the New York Times, so it is getting some attention. It would be great to get some feedback from techs in that area. ----- Original Message ----- Subj: Re: Free Steinway or M&H Piano Offered Date: 8/12/00 12:47:36 AM Eastern Daylight Time From: remoody@midstatesd.net (Richard Moody) Sender: owner-pianotech@ptg.org Reply-to: pianotech@ptg.org To: pianotech@ptg.org Not being interested in the contest but interested in hearing the two together can I come in off the street and play them for my own evaluation? ---ric > Dear List, > > A Piano Evaluation Contest between Steinway and Mason & Hamlin pianos is > being hosted on West 58th Street a couple of blocks from Steinway Hall in New > York City,
