Phil, See my previous post! I couldn't agree more. Out of a sense of self preservation I make it a point to have a couple trainees going at all times. My estimation is the Chicago area could use at least twice as many tuners as are currently working and with a very high average age it will only get worse. There have been a number of old timers quite voluntarily or involuntarily (if you get my drift) in recent years and for the most part no one has been able to cover all those customers.
