Age 29, and in my 2nd full-time year. My dad was a tuner, and I "worked" part time, doing some of his local junky piano customers. :-) He started me out with the SAT, got used to that, and never tuned aurally until the middle of 1999. I was mostly piddlin', so never quite got the hang of things until I began tuning regularly. Now I have put the SAT on the shelf, and am trying to make up for lost time. I wish I had started learning this work when I was 15!
