Factory Reconditioned Yamahas ?

As far as I know, Yamaha doesn't do rebuilding. Several years ago I had a
similar situation with a Kawai. The salesman, (if you can call him that)
insisted the piano was rebuilt at the factory. But I think any one who has
done rebuilding can tell if a piano was rebuilt or not, no matter how good a
job was done, by either a private rebuilder, or the factory. And this
particular piano was not rebuilt. It just looked good for a 15 year old piano.
