Hi David, It sounds like moisture got into the finish. I have had good luck with a 'Blush Eliminator', I don't have the information on the one I used. In Schaff's catalogue they have a Blush Eraser, by Behlen. It works by reflowing the laquer. There part # is 1417-100 Hope this helps. Regards, John M.
