Then there's NC milling from a single piece of plate. That would be pretty entertaining too. Stamping and forming from heavy sheet would be pretty cool, and might even work, but that probably isn't it either, unless maybe the back side was filled with a flame deposition process (sintering, or what ever it's called these days). Hmmmm, I'll have to ponder on it some more...or...did you say "steal" instead of steel? <G> Ron N
