We have been using Mapes International Gold -- Yes, I know. There is nothing "international" about it. Nor is there any gold in it. -- exclusively since it came out. It sounds good, looks good, and appears to be "tougher" than just about anything else around. I can do just about anything within reason in the treble and not worry about the strings breaking. Not so with Roslau.
