When it comes to discussing, and I repeat discussing, not agreeing to a
fixed rate for tuning etc, I am surprised that our American collegues are so
, dare I use the paranoid word, when it comes to Anti Trust laws.
Land of free enterprise, market economy, etc . . .
>From what I remember of my history lessons, A-T laws were enacted to deal
with the JP Morgans and Rockefellers , (and their steel, ) who might have
controlled something vital to your nations economy.
Now I know we are important, but not THAT important.

In my town, ALL the gas prices, for instance, are within a few decimal
points of each other . .
I don't think there is just a coincidence there. . . . .

( And by the way, I see cartoons on the net all the time. Just don't try
and claim YOU drew Peanuts or Herman, or whatever. )

Do we canadian members have the same concerns when it comes to fees . . .
after all, doctors and dentists have written fee schedules put out by their
professional associations.

I charge a flat rate of $75CAN for a tuning . . .whats that in US$ . ??

The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced;
the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled.
Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't
want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living
 on public assistance.
