Constantine's Brazilian Rosewood veneer

Has anyone used Constantine's flat-sawn Brazilian rosewood veneer to
replace/repair veneer on mid-19th century piano cases? It is undoubtably
thinner than the original, but does it come close to matching color and
figure, sapwood content, etc.? It lists at less than half the price of
any other suppliers I have found.
