Here is my stupid trick, Remember back when Dampchaser had a recall on certain vintage humidistat/low water indicators, because of a electrolysis problem. We all had to check the systems we installed to see if they had a certain number and if they did we were to replace them. I had several and on one (a Yamaha studio) for some reason during the process of making the change I disconnected the water fill tube that is connected to the reservoir and forgot to hook it back up. You can guess the following scenario. The next time the light came on and the customer added water I got a call. "Water came out from the pedals she said". And so it did. It also caused the damper pedal to come loose from the bottom board when it dried, (the screws just popped out.) I had a nice helping of humble pie that time.
