Clark: The only stupid question is the one that you don't ask. I mean,
let's face facts - everyone has asked the question(s) at sometime or
another.
Regarding that word "stupid" I applied it to myself yesterday when I
installed a set of bass wires on a grand piano. The very first wire that
I was going to install I had cut to the length it should have been for
the WRONG tuning pin. Was that stupid????? Well, I sure felt like it
was - especially with about 20 years of this stuff under my belt and
never having done that previously in all the restringing that I have
done. The truth is that it wasn't "stupid" - It was a mistake, which,
fortunately, Mapes can rectify for me in very short order. Will I be
more careful next time?- You bet!!
I am really trying to say to ask all the questions you want and don't
worry about it. I am sure that you have seen by now that this list is
comprised of a really wonderful group that works FOR rather than against
eachother. (If we could only get that same spirit into the rest of the
world just think of what life could be like.)
