Soundboard bleaching

Hi Stan,
        I have found washing liberally with achohol to be quite effective.
This vintage of Heinzman was finished in Shallac. About 3 applications
seems to be needed. If you are using 12lb cut shallac flakes you will not
notice the repair.
Some of the better wood working stores carry wood bleach just for this kind
of job, try Lee Valley.
