Trashing Kimball again! Worthless posts that don't answer any questions or provide any information and which come from the same, predictable Baloney Bunch! How many times do we have to see the same waste of energy from the same people? If asked to appraise such a piano, I'd do just that and call it just that, a piano, a baby grand. If it's action needed servicing and the customer would pay for it, I would do it and would tune it just as I would any other piano. I wouldn't have any higher expectations from it than I know that it can offer but I wouldn't make matters worse with an unprofessional attitude and behavior that is contrary to the interest of the piano service industry. If I were too busy to accept a job that I thought would be frustrating, I would refer it to someone I know who could use the work. We all know that it was built with different kinds of parts that were not meant to perform to the same expectations as higher priced instruments. The use of silly acronyms and other flippant remarks doesn't help anyone, technician or owner with any problems or decisions. Let's keep those kind of remarks on the list that was created for them by the people who don't have anything more to say or do than make them. Bill Bremmer RPT Madison, Wisconsin
