A client of mine had a horror story with her Pleyel grand where it ended up for six years in the hands of someone who got in over his head and couldn't find a way out. Predictably, it is now an abominable PSO. I wouldn't wish that on anyone and I agree with most of the advice already given. All you can do is be as honest and helpful as possible.
