Bass strings generally have a breaking percentage in the 40% to 50%
range so it is unlikely that you 'overpulled' the strings since none
broke, fortunately.

If they sound OK now there is little chance that they will change their
tone anytime soon.

Luckily you.  Next time start at the top of the section and go down.
Safer that way.
