Plate Removal

I use an engine lift to remove plates. It's on wheels, so I can move the
plate around. My lifter is a "Bluebird", a type that disassembles easily
for storage. They are also available from tool renters. For straps, I
use ratchet straps used for holding down loads in trucks. You can buy
these at K-Mart. They're not the heavy-duty type; only about 1 1/2"
wide. Willis Snyder used old seat belts. They are quite easy to adjust
and very soft and strong.
